Spank your children, for the sake of America.

I must admit, that I am concerned about the future of America. I look around and see our society being changed into a coddled, overly-sensitive, overly-protective and spoiled society with an inflated sense of entitlement. Instead of hard work, people expect hand outs and free insurance. Instead of taking responsibility and enacting change with their own hands, people would prefer to whine and complain. Instead of doing independent research, they simply believe what they are told. And in recent days, instead of being patriotic and supporting America, people wave the flags of other nations and speak in contempt of our own, all while continuing to take advantage of the benefits of this great nation.

I believe this is because American society has failed to properly raise our children with the basic tenets of discipline and respect. They lack perspective and take for granted all of the liberties and freedoms that this great country provides.

So please, America, I plead to you: spank your children. Raise them with discipline. Give them a healthy fear of authority, a respect for the law, and make them work for their wants. Make them understand that these rights and priviledges that people so easily flaunt were earned though blood, sweat and tears, and that no one should take them for granted. Maybe we can fix this before it’s too late.

P.S. For those of you who dont have common sense, which is an alarming amount of people these days, spanking does not mean you should beat your children. It means to give them discipline through consequence.

Teens in US T-Shirts Sent Home on Cinco de Mayo

At least that’s what happened Wednesday to five sophomore boys at Live Oak High School in Santa Clara, Calif. School administrators deemed their conspicuous American flag apparel “incendiary” and likely to provoke fights on a day when many other students were permitted to don the red, white and green designs of the Mexican flag in celebration of that country’s heritage.

“They said if we tried to go back to class with our shirts not taken off, they said it was defiance and we would get suspended,” NBC Bay Area quoted Dominic Maciel, one of the students sent home.

WHAT THE FUCK. Nevermind the fact that this is a blatant violation of these children’s rights to freedom of speech, nevermind that these children often wore patriotic apparel on other days, but why in gods name would it be offensive to wear patriotic clothing in a school in AMERICA?!!

It is incredulous and retarded that the school would have the nerve to believe that it is inappropriate for students to take pride in their country, ON ANY DAY.

Just because it is Cinco De Mayo means I cannot celebrate my country too? That’s incendiary? We’ve gotten to the point that we’ve coddled our children and society so much that we can no longer even be patriotic? That’s un-fucking-believable and you have got to be shitting me.
